I have always wanted to go to Egypt and what better way to see all the incredible ancient wonders that the country has to offer than with a river cruise along the Nile. Understandably, this iconic river has been a key focal point for settlers and visitors for thousands of years. For the Ancient Egyptian’s, the river was a vital source of water that helped to ensure the surrounding lands were fertile. It’s no surprise, then, that so many of the amazing structures that we marvel at today, such as the Great Pyramids or Abu Simbel, can be found close to this impressive river.
