The Choice Was All His
My son has always wanted to be a stunt car driver, which actually scared me to death. After accepting a few jobs in the field, he finally decided that this was not the right career for him. When he told me that he was going to be pursuing a Surgical technologist career, I was ecstatic and very relived. I always thought that this was a good field for him to go into, but I did not want to make the choice for him. I wanted him to realize that this career would be perfect the fit for him and make the choice on his own, and that is exactly what he did.
