I have never had the opportunity to go to a huge parade in a major metropolitan city.O  ne of the things I have always wanted to do is participate in a ticker tape parade.  When I recently finished my physical therapy after losing my leg, I was able to do my first competitive run in our home town.  As i crossed the finish line, the crowd went wild and Confetti poured from the sky like a flood rain.  I felt like I was in New York City.  It was, by far, one of the most fulfilling experiences of my life.  I give my thanks to the town of Portlage.
