A few years ago, I was one of those people who was happy to pick something up on sale at the local department store. If it was a good price, I bought it. I never even thought about the quality. My brother, on the other hand, always carefully researched things before he bought them. He wanted to make sure they were going to last, would have the features he needed, and looked good. After years of having things break down on me, I finally learned my lesson. So this year, I am going to get my children the best dvd players instead of the cheapest ones.
