Questions For Prospective Siberian Husky Owners
Will a Siberian Husky eat lots of food? Though their size often indicates such, Siberian Huskies really don’t eat that much. They are bred to run long distances, so high food quantities will only make their running more difficult. Even if you don’t train them to pull sleds all day, a Siberian Husky won’t eat much more than an average dog would eat. Will my family be a good match to own a Siberian Husky? Before committing to buying a Siberian Husky, analyze your living space. Huskies need lots of land to roam around to burn energy, or at the very least they should be taken for walks on a secured leash two times or more per day. So if you’re living in the city, working long hours daily, or can’t secure a husky outside, then this is definitely the wrong breed to own.
