How Recycle Bin Works
When a file is deleted, it’s placed into recycle bin. It will stay there until the bin is emptied. Each computer drive contains a folder, called Recycled. Once recycle bin is emptied the deleted file is renamed. Its path and name are now stored in a file called Info in the Recycled folder. The deleted file is also renamed. Even if it’s renamed, it;s not altered any other way. It can still be stored. If you deleted recycle bin by accident and need to restore files, you can do so as long as you do it right away. Deleted files are overwritten very quickly and can’t be restored afterwards.
